The pain of Christians in Pakistan

Donation protected
Evidence of SOME of the work we have been able to do, through the glory of God. Hallelujah, Jesus Christ will be praised.

NEW UPDATE: With the final amount of the money that was left, we conducted a rations distribution amongst the brick kiln families and other poverty stricken individuals. Work has continued to be conducted at the brick kiln by Amir, and we have been able to also supply him with a motor bike to alleviate fuel costs, Praise the Lord. We sincerely hope that others will partake in this work with the small amount that currently contribute. May the LORD be glorified. Amen.

FORMER UPDATE: I am glad to inform all that with 69% of offerings so far (£1148.10), God has enabled us to provide a brick kiln community with a holy assembly and love meal, 50 families with food and other items in Jaranwala & 50 Bibles to families in Jaranwala. We will begin preparation to soon distribute some audio Bibles to Brick Kiln families, and conduct another holy gathering for them and their children. Of course, the issue is so profound that we can only hope that support will continue, and that we will also commit ourselves to pray for these souls. In God's mercy, amen.

I address you to present you the life of believers of God suffering in Pakistan. Two issues that are most worthy of your action.

The first issue is as follows: many children of Christians are being subject to abject poverty and slavery in brick manufacturing kilns. Two contacts in Pakistan, who have provided ample evidence of the issue, are currently making efforts to serve these poor children. They are very limited with the amount of food that they can provide them with, and there are other needs such as Audio Bibles, hygienic water sources, clothing & education. Most importantly, Sufyan and Amir are working to support them with the teachings of Jesus Christ, giving them faith and hope for a better & eternal life. There are also children of Muslim families in this community, who they support - we would like to increase this support if possible.

The second issue is as follows: on the 16th of August a brutal attack was carried out by Muslim extremists on the Christian communities local to both Amir and Sufyan.
Sufyan has witnessed the devastation first-hand (despite having only just come out of hospital for severe Typhoid fever). Of course, we are all aware of the awful conditions many fellow believers in the world face, but it is our reasonable service unto the Lord to use our provision, even in fastings, to provide for those with nothing.

Full transparency of handling of offerings will be provided in the below links each week.

A direct word from Sufyan Masih, a worker on the ground.

In Jarawale, Faisalabad, Pakistan, on the 16th of August 2023, a horrific attack occurred against the local Christian community. Just yesterday, I, Sufyan Masih, had the sombre opportunity to visit this area with my team members. We witnessed firsthand the profound devastation that has befallen our brothers and sisters in faith.

Twenty-four churches, sacred places of worship and solace for countless souls, were left in ruins. In an act of pure misguided violence, Holy Bibles, youth devotions and Sunday school children’s Bibles were deliberately burned.

The crosses that once marked out our churches, symbols of faith, hope and God’s love, were torn down and lay trodden down in the streets, as do our fellow believers. I have heard reports of some dead and others tortured.

Attacks were inflicted upon the homes and lives of Christian families. Two hundred houses where such families have lived are now destroyed. People living there are trying to cope with what has happened.

As we visited these persecuted families, we heard their heart-wrenching stories. Having painstakingly saved their hard-earned money for a brighter future, all their substance is now cruelly taken away or destroyed. They are left in a state of destitution. Their pain is our pain, their cries our prayers, and their hopelessness a clear cry for support.

We as Christians are called to be light in the world. Help restore the afflicted’s hope for their lives.

'If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him?'
