The Pollock Family’s Fight For Bob’s Recovery

Donation protected
“Always a fighter”, “the most positive person I’ve ever met”, “seriously the nicest guy i’ve ever come across”, “dedicated…”, “honest and always willing to help…”- These are just some of the texts I’ve received in the last 2 days.

Anyone who has had the privilege of meeting Bob, would consider him a friend, and has subsequently been devastated by the terrible news we received on 3/26.

Late on Monday night, 3/25, Bob was rushed to the ER as a result of a freak injury he suffered on the ice during a hockey game. We learned that Bob suffered a broken neck and severely compressed and injured spine and as a result had lost all feeling and mobility from his shoulders down. He underwent surgery to repair the multiple fractures in his neck and remains in ICU. Bob is able to speak, listen, comprehend and remember as normal and that was the first blessing that his family was given. On just the second day he miraculously was able to move his feet, although still no feeling. This is a wonderful sign that with his determination and your love, support and encouragement, he WILL make a full recovery. The doctors prognosis is that a full recovery is absolutely attainable, but the road will be tough and long (up to 2 years).

Your help at this time will ensure that his loving wife, Jenn, and four beautiful children, Bobby, Brady, Gianna and Owen, will have the financial help they may need to help navigate the road ahead. There will be lost income as well as numerous unforeseen medical expenses. We all thank you in advance for whatever you can contribute. Please leave a note or even just a single word that Jenn can share with Bob. Bob thrives with encouragement and has already started psyching himself up for his fight. Thank you and much love.
**** This info being furnished at GoFundMe’s request. My name is Jim Cestare. Bob and Jenn Pollock have been my friends for 35 years. Jenn Pollock has been named beneficiary of this fund and all monies will go to her. This money will help supplement any loss of income, future hotel stays (near rehab center) as well as help to pay for any modifications to the Pollocks’ home if need be.
