The Prime Pit

Hi guys, I’m Prime! I was rescued by my parents in 2018 through Chicago’s One Tail At A Time program. Since then I have had a wonderful and fulfilling life with some ups and downs along the way. I was diagnosed with Subaortic Stenosis at the age of 2 before my parents adopted me. Recently, I have found out that I have 2 Mast Cell Tumor growths that are positive for cancer and that due to my heart condition, I am not able to go under anesthesia for surgery. Double
Instead, I am getting Chemotherapy every couple of weeks to help stop the growths and to continue living my best life with mom and dad as I remain on my heart medicine, which is going to be very pricey!
I just had my first round of Chemo a couple of weeks ago and am responding super well! I still love my walks, tug of war, snuggling with my parents, dreaming, sitting on the balcony, eating cheese & peanut butter, shaking hands and just being OUTSIDE! Rolling around on my back in the grass feels SO good.
I love my friends I’ve made! I have a huge crush on my friend GiGi. I’ve tried humping her several times to get the point across, but she still doesn’t get it and my parents weren’t too fond of it either. I guess we’ll have to stay friends.
I have my eyes on this new girl, her name’s CoCo... and we’ve been getting along real well. We like to give each other kisses and chase each other around.
I’m excited to share my story with you as I continue through this crazy game called life!
Oh! Did I mention I have a HUGE head? But that’s enough about me, what about you!?
If you’d like to support me me through my Cancer and SAS journey, donate here! WOOF!
