The Purple Flag Project

Hi! Sam and Abby, two seniors at Westside High School, are fundraising for their DECA project, The Purple Flag Project. The goal of this project is to raise awareness about domestic violence — a very common and dangerous problem — in their community and teach high schoolers about healthy relationships and red —or purple— flags in unhealthy relationships. They are hosting several community-wide events, printing 150 custom shirts, and working with their school spirit organizations to create a purple-out varsity basketball game to raise awareness for domestic violence.
