The Queendom-We Can’t Do This Without You!

Mother, wife, partner, teacher,  boss, caretaker, all titles we are given but, above all we are women and we are human. With all the roles that we play it is so hard to prioritize taking care of ourselves and to look and feel fabulous while doing so, especially as a Black woman. We don’t always have access to the best spaces and best practices due to a plethora of hurdles.  And the time it takes to look and feel your personal best is another full time job. But The Queendom is here to change that.

Due to Covid19 we lost our investor and have yet to be able to replace them. Support from the community and self funding is the reason we have been able to keep this business going and growing. The Queendom is not only building a full service mobile salon and spa, we offer consumers the opportunity to support other small Black and Brown Women Led Beauty Brands all over the world, via purchasing The Queendom Beauty Box. In addition, A portion of the proceeds are used to donate self care kits to sexual assault survivors. We created this company out of pure frustration from beauty services not being more accessible. We are our customers, so we understand firsthand how much The Queendom will impact their lives.

Speaking of impact, we are not just a company that’s here to provide services and simply make money. We want to change the landscape of the beauty industry. Black women alone spend 4 Billion dollars a year just on their hair but, we are priced out of maintaining businesses in an industry that makes a ton off of us. Supporting us is not just about supporting a business. It’s truly support for a community of women that everyone continues to praise for strength and resilience but refuses to let them prioritize self care.
