The Quilting Season Saline MI
Donation protected
The Quilting Season in Saline Michigan: Where creativity and friendliness go hand in hand. The Quilting Season is the home for quilters and sewers who love making things. And for multiple charitable activities. I, Mary Hogan, am a customer at the store, Mary Lindquist is the owner.
Due to the corona virus, the store is closed and has no income. Any funds raised will be used to pay rent, utilities, and bills for merchandise received, and to pay staff until sales are sufficient to do so. This will help Mary Lindquist keep the store in business during this indefinite time with no income.
The Quilting Season is also the home for activities that support the community. These are some of them:
Pillowcases for Mott Children's hospital
Medical Education dolls for Mott hospital
Preemie Pals - makes quilts to cover the isolettes for premature infants
Saline Social Services - collection site for coffee and other foods for families; annual donation sale to provide gift certificates for school shoes
Holiday gifts for local seniors who are isolated
Quilts of Compassion
And other one-time projects to fulfill a certain need, such as making fabric masks during this time of corona virus.
Without The Quilting Season we would not have a place for these efforts.
Help avert this crisis and keep this community resource open, both for quilters and others who benefit from the activities at The Quilting Season.
