The RAD Brewing Company's Flood Recovery Effort

Donation protected
On Friday, July 19, The River Arts District Brewing Company suffered catastrophic water damage when a storm cell overwhelmed our runoff systems and brought 5 feet of water into our lower operating level. The water and mud knocked out our refrigeration and draft service equipment, packaging equipment, audio systems, office equipment, and more.

We first focused on restoring our refrigeration and draft systems so we could reopen the taproom and return to serving guests.

But now, with the taproom reopened and most of our beers back on draft, we are just beginning to assess and receive estimates for the damage to much of the equipment necessary to continue producing and packaging beer. Many pieces of equipment have been completely destroyed while others have been crippled and in need of costly and time-consuming repairs. There are also the costs associated with building repairs and clean up, as well as the loss of revenue from nearly a week of shut-down.

As a young company...this disruption and damage poses a threat to our future. We are asking for your help in funding the necessary repairs to help keep our beers flowing.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Lem and The RAD Brew Co. Team
