The Rawson Family

On October 4th, 2021, Aaron Rawson, devoted husband to Amanda and loving daddy to Summer, 13 years old, Olivia, 9 years old, and Scarlett, 7 years old, unexpectedly passed away.  Amanda and the girls have been grieving, questioning, and trying desperately to comprehend the sudden loss of a partner and a father.  And although this has been absolutely devastating for the family, it's not where this story ends.  Just 5 weeks after Aaron's death, Olivia came home sick from school with stomach cramps and a fever.  After a trip to the hospital, multiple tests, and bloodwork, a germ cell tumor was confirmed to be on one of her ovaries.  Olivia has since undergone surgery to remove the tumor and her ovary.  Treatment is just starting; four months of chemotherapy has been scheduled beginning in early December.  The road to healing and recovery for the Rawson family is now an extended journey.  Amanda will remain home and available to be with Olivia throughout her treatment.

These beautiful young ladies and their amazing mom have been through so much, with still more to come.  More hospital stays, tests, and side effects from chemo.  More worry for a sister and a daughter,  while working through their grief for Aaron.  Throughout all of this, making ends meet - paying bills, buying groceries, paying for hospital parking, any added medical expense - should not be a concern.  The generosity Amanda and the girls have received so far has been a true blessing.  It's why we ask that you continue your support.  Please consider donating to this gofundme account, and repost its link on social media so that others may also consider donating.  Together, let's continue to build a supportive and loving community around Amanda, Olivia, Summer, and Scarlett.
