In memorium of Bryce Dowsett
Donation protected
To support the family of Bryce Dowsett in memorium of his life, to support his partner and his three children as they make the journey forward and plan any memorial services they wish and continue into the future. On the 14th November, Bryce lost his tenuous grip on life after 8 weeks in ICU after his motorcycle accident. Thank-you all for the support throughout the last few months, we appreciate it all so far, unfortunately even with very excellent medical care and the advocacy of Elizabeth and Vivien, his injuries were too severe to recover from. But thanks to the supporters so far, Elizabeth was able to afford the fuel and parking costs associated with his hospital stay, as well as cover the portion of the bills that Bryce used to cover. If anyone can donate further, the money will go to supporting Bryce's three children as well as expenses for any memorial costs Elizabeth and Vivien wish to do.
Original story prior to Bryce's passing: On Tuesday 21st September, Bryce, a 26 year old father of three children, was in a severe collision with a truck while on his motorbike, he was rushed to the hospital in critical care and placed in an induced coma for a brain bleed as well as bone and skin injuries. He has been in the ICU ever since. My sister, Elizabeth has been travelling back and forth to the hospital daily to consult with doctors on his medical needs and decisions while he cannot speak for himself. Their young family is now missing an income with the added stress of fuel and parking costs associated with hospital stays, which if you have had family in extended hospital stay you may know how expensive it can be. The doctors are cautiously saying the road ahead is long and answers cannot be given on his expected outcomes, but to be prepared for months, not weeks. Another factor with 3 children is the fact COVID is restricting all visitors under the age of 12, so the children need to be in childcare sometimes for Elizabeth to be by Bryce's side on this journey.

My name is Kristen and I am the sister of Elizabeth, and Bryce is my brother in law. I am Auntie to their three children, who are 1, 3 and 4 years old, and he is Uncle Bryce to my children. I am writing this Gofundme with the blessing of my sister to help alleviate some of the pressure they face in the upcoming months/year. If we even get some people to give the cost of a cup of coffee, you will be paying for fuel to the hospital, parking fees, or the cost of childcare as needed for Elizabeth to be able to visit Bryce's side and his ICU team for medical decisions. Thank-you for any kindness you can give.
