The Ride for Change

2020 has been a turbulent year with the pandemic, social injustice, and of course, the coming election.
After witnessing many negative and hate-filled acts, that left me with a hurt heart, I felt something had to be done to swing the pendulum back to the positive side of things.
I was just as much a part of the problem as anyone.
It seems we’ve come to the point where a simple disagreement results in losing life-long friends and acquaintances.
So, I took a step back and realized something had to be done. As the saying goes “Be the Change You Want to See in Others”, so, now is the time to put action behind the hashtag #BeAGoodHuman.
While we may never agree on day-to-day topics, we can all agree that we need to do a better job with our “future” before there is no future, especially in these underprivileged communities. So, I'm jumping on my Harley-Davidson for The Ride for Change – a motorcycle ride that will stop off in 11 towns in Texas (and Lawton, Oklahoma).
During the ride, we will be raising funds and awareness for minority scholarships we are creating in each of these communities.
The ride will start September 14th, 2020, but we will continue to raise funds and awareness, for these minority scholarships, all throughout the 20-21 school year.
Anything you can give will be much appreciated.
I assure you that 100% of the funds we raise here will be distributed via these scholarships.
