The Robbins’ Twins

We were all very excited in June when Jeff and Jessica announced that they were expecting twins! Jeff and Jessica are both such loving, hard-working, and creative people, the kind we all love to be around. We knew immediately that they are going to be absolutely wonderful parents. And twins! What a blessing! Of course, Jeff and Jessica knew that it would be a lot of work to raise two babies at once (especially since Jeff is a lucky enough to be a twin himself), and they were certainly equal to the task. But none of us could know how complicated things would be right from the very start.

Much to everyone’s surprise, Jeff and Jessica’s beautiful girls, Zoe and Elora, made their early debut on September 22nd, at just 28 gestational weeks 2.5 lbs each. They are currently being monitored in the NICU, and they have a long way to go before they can join Mom and Dad in their family home. In the meantime, Jessica and Jeff will gladly take on many stressful days, restless nights, and commuter miles to care for their two little angels each day. Unfortunately, they will also be left with a tremendous financial burden. They are grateful for the miracles that have gotten mom and both babies to this point, and they know they can count on you for prayers and encouragement. With Jeff and Jessica being the highly independent couple they are, we know they are unlikely to ask for anything more.
