The rocky path to the top..

Hello, I`m Lara Ok,19 years old and a professional golfer since 2023.

I play golf since I am 6 years old and never lost my passion for the game.

When I was 14, I was diagnosed with scolioses and given recommendations and advice to stop golf.

I fought through it and wore a corset outside of my tournaments and training and with a lot of muscle building, I managed to get better.

So I continued my successful amateur career and then played in the first women's Bundesliga in 2021/2022 and reached the Final four in 2022.

My parents and I do everything on our own as a team, and of course the thought came "when is the right time to become a golf professional?" or how would I continue as a golfer.

In December 2022 I played the Quali School and earned the tour card for the 2023 season.

At the beginning of 2023, I decided to become a golf professional at the age of 18 and play on the Let Access and Ladies European Tour.

I am now 19 years old and in my second season as a professional.

My parents support me 1000 percent but we always notice that's it´s only enough for the minimum.

Unfortunately, in the lower tours the prize money is still so little that you can hardly finance yourself.

In order to develop further I need donations so that I can finance the 2025 season (starts December 2024) and prepare myself for it as best as possible.

I always calculate around 3,000 euros per tournament and a complete season on the let access tour would cost around 45,000 to 50,000 euros.
