The Roger Korte Memorial Fund

The Roger Korte Memorial Fund is being set up on behalf of his family with the purpose of helping with lingering medical expenses and funeral costs. Roger has been bravely fighting cancer over the last 6 years, traveling back and forth from El Paso to MD Anderson in Houston. Roger has been a dedicated Firefighter for 25 years, and he continued serving his community up until late 2018 when his cancer advanced and he made the difficult decision to retire. Prior to serving his community, he served his country as a proud United States Marine, working on F-18 Hornet hydraulic systems and airframes in squadron VMFA 312. In 1998 he married longtime love, Maria Jesse who later blessed him with the light of his life, Haley Nicole. These ladies have bravely stood by him and were his reason for fighting as long as he did.
