The Rogers Need Our Help
Hi all, I hope this message finds you well.
As you may or may not know Ed, Rebecca, Jake and Shane's (and of course Jasmine) house rested on the banks of the Schuylkill River in Phoenixville. As of the morning of 9/2/21, the remnants of Hurricane Ida forced them to evacuate their home as it was literally collapsing beneath itself. The family did make it out safe, and that is what's important!
For those of you who know the Rogers, they are always there to help out those in need, whether it be with their landscaping business, helping friends move, or just be there when you need them. Now, they need us. They will be displaced for quite some time as they look to repair/relocate, and reestablish the business.
I am not sure how long we'll be able to keep this fundraiser going, as they are never the group to ask for help, but we all know that they would be the first to raise their hands if one of us were in need.
Please, if you can spare anything to help them get back on their feet, it would be appreciated. They did get Becca's car out and some of the larger equipment, but Ed's truck is under water as is the majority of their personal belongings.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, as I am sure they're getting inundated with phone calls, and trying to salvage what they can when they are allowed back in (what is left of) the house.
Sorry for the ironic picture of them surrounded by water, it's the only good one I had on my phone. I will send updates once we get them.
Thank you!
