The Royal Lao Classical Dancers Operational funds
Donation protected
We are a dance troupe founded in 1996 by husband and wife duo, Khamdy and Bangthong Chindavanh, who were former dancers in Laos. With their goal of wanting to preserve a beautiful piece of our culture, they formed the Royal Lao Classical Dancers of TN. What once started as a small troupe, made up of the founder's children and relatives, has grown exponentially to about 50 dancers ranging from ages 4-22. We are pleased that these dancers show up every weekend with big hearts filled with determination and dedication to perfecting their craft and preserving the Lao culture.
From practice space, equipment, supplies, outfits, food, drinks, and snacks each weekend, RLCD has always been privately funded by the director of the organization from their personal funds. Our children are our future; we kindly ask for your help to keep the preservation of our culture for many years to come by making a donation to the organization. With your donation, we would be able to fund various things such as studio space to practice, hair/hair supplies, make-up, new outfits, and all that is needed to ensure that we give a lovely and delightful performance. Our hope is that we can continue to grow and build a better program for our children that is not only enjoyable but also educational. No donation is too small and we sincerely appreciate your generosity.
Please continue to check back for updates on performance schedules as we would love to see you in the crowd enjoying the love of our culture with us.
