The Ruiz Family has lost everything to Maui Fire

Hello all,

My name is Andra I am from Northern California, and this is where I met Angela Ruiz over 20 years ago. I am raising money for Marcos and Angela Ruiz to start over after the loss their home and restaurant in the recent fire in Lahaina, Maui. They escaped with only the clothes on their back. I am raising funds for them because they are my dear friends and they took care of me when I moved to Maui in 2015.

Marcos has lived on Maui for over 20 years and Angela for over 10 years. They have always "paid it forward" and cared for anyone in need. Now it's my turn to help where I can. They started their restaurant (Hungry Coyote) just after Covid. Marcos is an amazing chef. Angela adopted a son CJ who is now 20 years old, 5 years ago. She moved her mother to Maui after the death of her father last year.

Any amount you are willing to contribute will help them obtain a temporary or permanent home, flights to get to safety. They will also need hygiene products, clothing and food. We have to provide money as there is nowhere to deliver goods as the mailbox and post office was destroyed too.
