The Runyan Family

Hi, I’m friend of Tyler Runyan’s, who has just lost his Father, Cub Runyan.

For those of you that may not have heard, Cub went to the local ER 2 months ago (7/16) with stroke like symptoms. Unfortunately, he was instead diagnosed with terminal brain cancer – glioblastoma.

Cub had surgery almost immediately to try to remove the larger of two tumors found at that time. (Without surgery, the predicted survival was 2-3 months, with surgery, there was a possibility of 6 months – 18 months).

They were able to remove part of that tumor, but not all of it. After being in and out of the ICU with brain swelling post-surgery, he did undergo 3 weeks of inpatient Chemo and Radiation, and went through therapy.

Fast forward to today, 2 months after initial diagnosis, and Cub has just passed.

I have created this Go fund me in Tyler’s name on behalf of his Dad to use as the family needs.

Obviously, the financial strain on the family has been tremendous – from missing work for days/weeks unpaid, to gas expenses for the family driving back and forth, to purchasing dog food for his hunting dogs.

The family will be stretched even thinner financially to cover funeral expenses (with no life insurance). If you are able to help Tyler and his Family with a small donation, it would be appreciated.
