The Rush & Russell Family Medical Expenses

As some of you may know, our grandmother Helen Russell recently fell ill. She was admitted to the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus on July 5th after falling in her living room & experiencing complications while at home.

As you can imagine, Helen has been through multiple tests to understand what is going on. We have been fortunate to have a very good medical team to trust in with her life. We appreciate each and every family member and friend who has come to spend time with her, feed her, and talk with her. Unfortunately, we are in need of financial support at this time.

Medical expenses were inevitable. On top of that, her house is now in foreclosure. Medical issues are what's making the mortgage unattainable at this time. She raised her 4 children (Sandy, Alvin, Alfred Jr., & Nicole) in this house and has lived in this house for over 50 years. As she works to improve her health, we want to make sure she has a home to come home to.

The Dr. 's moved Helen from Cleveland Clinic Main Campus to their sister campus Suburban Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. The medical team works with her daily: Therapy, taking her medicine & feeding her as we work to regain her strength and ability to walk.

We've received an incredible outpouring of love and support, and we are so grateful for everyone's kindness and prayers. Many people have asked how they can support the family, so we have created this GoFundMe page to provide some relief for Helen and her immediate family.
