The Russells road to Remission and Recovery

Hi, my name is Jenny Pointer and I am fundraising for my friend and co-worker, Renee Russell and her family. Renee is a paraprofessional at Roxana School District, and the Treasurer for the Roxana Educational Support Professionals Association union. She works hard at taking care of her students, co-workers and her union family. Now Renee and her family need our help. At the end of May, Renee's husband Drew was diagnosed with Leukemia Lymphoma and immediately began intensive treatment, that included 30 days of isolation in the hospital. While undergoing treatment, Drew is unable to work. Renee is home taking care of their adorable 5-year-old son, Zach, who keeps Renee on her toes while his dad is away.

Drew is currently in the hospital again, undergoing his second round of treatment. While he is responding well to treatment, they still have a bit of a road ahead of them with more treatments, doctor's appointments, and additional time off work for Drew. As you can imagine, bills pile up quickly in circumstances like these. Please consider helping the Russells as they fight this battle by eliminating the worry of financial burdens, so they can focus on healing for Drew.
