The Samano Family

Our very own, Ms. Jeanette, suffered an unimaginable loss on Friday, 9/30. Her beloved daughter, Briana, died suddenly in their home. Anyone who knows Jeanette, knows just how much she loves her children, Briana and Raul. In the last couple months, she enjoyed the great privilege and joy of watching her daughter enroll in college to study early childhood education, Jeanette's passion. It was with such pride that she shared Briana's accomplishments with all of us and, those of us that were fortunate enough to meet Briana, could plainly see the source of her immense pride. Briana embodied what we all hope our children will be - she was wise beyond her years, incredibly passionate and hard working, and lived her short life with amazing kindness and selflessness. It is beyond heartbreaking to think of the grief that the Samanos are experiencing. We will stand beside Ms. Jeanette every step of the way as she navigates the days, weeks, months and years ahead. The funds raised here will help support her family as they attempt to cope with this horrific tragedy. Thank you for your generosity and love for Ms. Jeanette and her family.
