Samatha Hodge, my cousin was diagnosed with brain cancer last November with a 5-10 window to live. She's 26 and plans to marry this November.
After undergoing a long a painful surgery to cut out much of the tumor she will now under going a intense chemotherapy and radiation program, her attitude remains rock solid.
I've been training for Ironman Lake Tahoe on Sept. 20, after a bad week of training I was ready to give up, but then thought, Samatha doesn't have this option, only to keep fighting.
So, my goal is to raise as much money as I can for her and her family through my effort.
For every mile I cover ( 140.6) people can donate whatever they want,$1, $2 etc. I'll go as far as I can and make every mile count!
