The SCC Renovation Fund

The Dunphy Park upgrade has triggered specific safety concerns with the SCC BOD and City of Sausalito. It is necessary that we address the issues detailed below. These projects will insure the safety of our members and guests while also insuring the future of the Club. Below I've outlined our plan to upgrade; accessibility, egress and fire safety.
Phase 1: Upgrade our entrance gangway and allow for the construction of a second point of egress. Our entrance will require a new concrete abutment (landing) in the park and a custom built 50' gangway. (est. $25,000) Our egress will require a concrete abutment, for which we will partner with Cass Marina. (est. $15,000)
Phase 2: Installation of fire suppression systems, that will be introduced in stages, over the next few years. Galley, bilge, dining room and bar have been put out for separate bids.
All the proceeds raised from this will be set aside in a separate account, strictly to be used for club renovations, as mentioned above.
Sincerely,
David Hanson
