The Schiehallion Ward
This August I will be doing a 10,000 ft skydive for charity. I will be raising money for the Glasgow Children's Hospital and The Schiehallion ward in particular.
Anyone who knows me will know what this ward means to me, why I do shifts there and how much it has helped me deal with my PTSD from my time in the Army over the years.
These Wee Legends in this ward are the ongoing balance in my life and have helped me through some difficult times over the years. So...This is my opportunity to give something back to them as a thank you for the help they give me. Any money i raise will go direct to this ward. It's to help them and their families, who go through so much pain and stress dealing with this on a daily basis. It's also for the staff, from the domestics, dinner ladies, nursing staff and doctors who work on this ward every day. All of whom have my total respect for what they do.
My aim in August is to chuck myself out of an aeroplane at 10,000 feet and raise as much cash as possible, any donations are greatly appreciated. It's for the best cause on the planet, helping our kids beat Cancer :) x
