The Scollan Family

My dear cousin's husband suddenly passed away Thursday, December 1st at the age of 42. Nick Scollan was a devoted husband to Lori, a loving son, brother, friend, hero and most of all a loving father to his beautiful son, Joey (12). Joey was his world and he was very present in all aspects of his everyday life. Nick's positivity shined on everyone he met and will be missed terribly. At only 42 years old he had a lifetime ahead of him to make memories with his son, family and friends.

Nick was not only a devoted husband and father but he was also a hero in his community. He was in the military for 3 years while he served in the Coast Guard. After the military, Nick worked as a firefighter in New York where he continued to save lives for a total of 17 years. He retired from the FDNY and moved his family to the West Coast so they can make beautfiul memories together after his retirement.

As this family prepares to go on with life without Nick, we ask that you will help them in any way you can.
