The Scott Hendy Memorial Fund

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the untimely and tragic loss of our good friend, Scott Hendy. Scott has left us far too soon, leaving behind a void that will never be filled. As we deal with this devastating loss, we are reaching out to you to offer support and comfort to Scott's grieving family.

Scott was loved by everyone who met him, he was funny, genuine and the life and soul of any party. His sense of humor was legendary and his loss will be felt from all over Bristol such was the reach of his infectious personality.

Scott was a highly regarded local footballer playing for clubs such as Mangotsfield United, Clevedon Town and Bath City to name but a few. Everyone who played with him would name him one of their funniest teammates and stories of Scott are still shared and talked about by everyone he played with.

In the wake of this unimaginable tragedy, we are launching this GoFundMe campaign to provide financial support to Scott's family during this difficult time. The funds raised will go entirely to the Hendy Family to help towards any financial burdens that may arise in the aftermath of his passing.

In addition to this, on Sunday March 17th we are coming together to honour his memory in the way of a Memorial Game @ Mangotsfied Uniteds Cossham Street Ground against a Louis Carey XI. We are asking everyone who knew and loved Scott to come and celebrate his life. More details of this will be shared on social media in due course.
