The Scott Myers Family Fight 4 Life Fund

Nate HARMON, Misty FRANCIS and Larry FAIRCLOTH join hands and come together to reach out to the community and seek your assistance to help the MYERS FAMILY.  Please help Scott and his family in their Fight for LIfe.

Scott Myers has dedicated his life to serving his community as a Berkeley County Sheriff Deputy and K9 Handler.  Scott serves on the Civil Service Commission and constantly volunteers his time helping others in need.  His wife served with him in his K9 program and has been by his side each day as his pillar of strength and support. An unfortunate diagnosis of cancer in 2009 forced Scott to have to medically retire for the Sheriffs Office.  Scott fought vigorously and beat the cancer in 2013.  Ever since, Scott has taken every opportunity to live life to the fullest with his family and grand kids.  In May of this year (2020), Scott visited his physician concerned about his weight loss and was advised that the cancer had returned.  Scott's treatment plan requires numerous radiation treatments that started last week and there has been some adjustments for care at his residence as he is unable to walk at the present.  Scott's employment does not carry insurance and each treatment Scott receives costs $1,000.00 in which he is expected to receive at least 10 treatments (most likely more) as well as other medications.  The Myers family would be extremely grateful and blessed if the community can pull together and reach the fund goal of $18,000.00 to cover the already surmounting costs of the treatment and care for Scott Myers as they are in the Fight for Life.
