I've hit some pretty hard financial times due to all the death in my family and some real poor decisions, to the point where I've racked up credit card bills totaling upwards of $90,000. I had actually had most of them paid off in 2021 when I took out a loan and was determined not to get in a hole. Then my dad died and I had to pay for his burial, so that immediately put me back in the hole and the spending habits happened again. The help you gave my mom back in 2020 was amazing.
My credit score is in the tank, and on 8/30/2024, I had my paycheck garnished for a credit card bill, leaving me overdrawn, with personal loan/car insurance payments coming up in the first week of September, which I will not be able to afford thanks to this, let alone the mortgage payment and car loan payment. After mom died, I was also saddled with a 30-year home loan, with 25 years left on it.
For those who know me, I absolutely hate asking for help, but I am in desperate need of it. Not just for this month, but to help start taking out my debt as a whole. I know I won't reach the mark I'm setting and I don't expect to; I'm just hoping for help to at least let me stand up and take a breather, and then start planning.
