The Seideman Family

Update: Thank you all for your generous support of the Seideman family.  What we initially thought was an ambitious goal of $50,000 has been far exceeded.  The true goal of this is to support the Seideman family, not achieve a dollar amount.  Despite surpassing the original goal, this page will continue to remain open for contribution.

Thank you for your continued support.

-----------------------------

Jay Seideman was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, coworker, friend, mentor, advisor, leader... and so much more.

There was nothing more important to him than family. He loved spending time with SaraJane and his boys whether it be in their Oakland home or on the beach in Hawaii. He brought out the very best in his friends and family - not to mention you could always count on Jay for some light-hearted fun. Jay loved adventure, music, and of course, ad tech.

Jay’s approach to business was simple: be knowledgeable, work as a team, and don’t take yourself too seriously. His style was simple and direct, and this resonated with clients and coworkers alike.

Jay was an eager teacher and student; he reveled in seeing his teammates learn almost as much as he enjoyed learning along with them. Jay thrived in an industry that was ever-changing and open to endless opportunity. He valued the perspective of every client and every team member, and he selflessly offered his ear or opinion to anyone that sought it. Few people, regardless of industry, could command a room with a handlebar mustache and mohawk like he did. Jay taught his team to find courage in their strengths, humility in their approach, and to have a hell of a lot of fun along the way.

There is an immense hole left in the Verizon family, and in the media industry as a whole. All those that Jay taught, collaborated with, and inspired will carry his legacy on.

Sending our prayers and love to the Seideman family. Our lives will forever be changed by Jay and his laughter will be deeply missed.
