The Seraph Trust

Donation protected
We are incredibly proud to have reached our first milestone of £237,000 which ensures Seraph gets the vaccine he needs in New York next month but this is just the beginning of his journey.

90% of children treated for cancer go on to develop further issues, including secondary cancer.

Neuroblastoma treatment involves using the most intensive protocols available (including, as Seraph has had:  chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, immunotherapy, stem cell transplant and experimental drugs).  Any one of these on its own could bring a range of unwanted side effects. In combination, the risks of complications are increased. Because neuroblastoma is such a deadly illness, the potential benefits of these treatments outweigh their potential risks.  They will hopefully save Seraph’s life.  But they will also leave him facing uncertain and potentially serious after-effects.

For that reason #TeamSuperSeraph will continue to raise funds for The Seraph Trust to cover the cost of ongoing treatment and care for Seraph.

It is impossible to set a fundraising target for this as the future is uncertain.  The illness and its treatment will present us with unknown and constantly changing battles.
