The Shake Up's First Album!

It's hard to believe it's been eight years since The Shake Up was first formed. Over that time, we have had some obstacles to overcome. We've changed practice spaces, brought in new band members, worked to find how music fits into adult family life, and even weathered a pandemic. That last one still feels surreal, doesn't it? In the beginning a few shows we were looking forward to were canceled, and beloved venues in the area closed their doors for good. To be completely honest, we missed you guys! Coming back to the stage after being away for so long felt like coming home. Let's come together and find that joy again. The feeling of a room full of sound and that unique bond that happens between the musician and the listener.

We are on a new journey, and I want you to come along with us. We are in the middle of recording our first full-length album and we are so excited for you to hear it. Unsurprisingly, this is an expensive journey and we can't do it alone.

Over the next few months we will be sharing our progress, letting you peek into the virtual window of our project, and asking for insight and suggestions. We want you to be a part of it! We couldn't have gotten where we are without you.
