The Shave For The Brave

Hi all ! We are delighted to announce that on the 5th of August we will be holding a huge fundraiser in Frank O’Briens, all in aid of the Maher Family.

Augy Dobbyn has decided after 34 years to shave his head and beard to raise funds to support his very good friends Pauline Cullen and Brendan Maher. Pauline and Brendan have two gorgeous sons, Ruairi aged 3 and Fiach aged 6 months who both have Down Syndrome.

Life for the Mahers has not been easy.

Both Ruairi and Fiach have had long spells in hospital due to their complex health issues and will have ongoing additional needs.

Join us from 5pm on Saturday the 5th of August in Frank O’Briens for a night full of fun with our MC Brian Dooley.

We will be holding an incredible raffle and auction on the night with lots of amazing prizes, so keep an eye on the page for more!

If watching Augy shave his head and beard isn’t enough to entice you we will have live music with an acoustic session from Bernard Kavanagh and our Spinmaster Colm O’Connor will be back in the yard for a Vinyl session !
