The Shepherdstown Fairy Festival

Creative projects need patrons.
Please help me bring the magic and joy of fairy to as many people as possible in as big a way as possible. I have the vision, skills, experience, and relationships to create The Shepherdstown Fairy Festival. I am blessed to have a team of talented, generous, and hard-working people to help make this happen. However, to bring the festival to the life I’ve envisioned, I need funds to buy supplies and decorations, to pay skilled people to build safe sets, to pay the artists to paint them (exposure is not payment), and to help cover the many many other small and large expenses of a festival.
My courage, my hope, and my joy are drawn almost exclusively from fantasy and fairy tales. I want to make these stories and the world of fairies, magic and imagination accessible to as many people as possible.
You can read more about the festival on our webpage: www.thefairiesarecoming.com

We are seeking to make this festival as ADA compliant as is humanly possible with an outdoor site: handicapped parking spaces, additional seating scattered through the festival to aid those with mobility issues, a staffed quiet tent for those with sensory issues who need a space to regroup, sound baffles for generators to reduce noise (these are pricy to create as art and not just eyesores), and ASL translation (another significant cost) are this year's accommodations. We will also have a changing tent for parents of young children and a separate children's quiet tent.
