The Sherman’s
Donation protected
Hello everyone, I am sure some of you or by now most of you all know Dan was involved in a propane explosion on January 1st. Dan has suffered serious burns over his legs and arms. He has had one surgery so far and the future of the healing process will be slow and as he can tell you a tad bit painful.
Dan is one of those people who will help just about anyone with whatever needs to be done. He never says no and will roll up his sleeves and help a stranger on the side of the road rather than just pass them by. He loves to share his knowledge and will offer even an ear if you just need support.
Dan is the “bread winner” of the family and will not be able to return to work for the foreseeable future. The healing process will be a long process especially where the grafts were done and cannot risk the chance of infection to the burn sights.
He has been released from the hospital and is at home recuperating. He still will need to make many trips to the burn center at Chapel Hill for follow ups.
If anyone who knows the Sherman’s could help out if even a small amount it would mean the world to them and would let Dan focus on healing rather than getting back to work. Thank you for any support you may be able to provide.
