The Sherrell Family

We are currently mourning the very unexpected and sudden loss of my sons, Zaquez Sherrell, 18, and Tavarius Sherrell, 15. On November 26th, 2021 they were brutally murdered in Nashville, Tennessee when two men came into our home and killed my two sons and shot my daughters and myself, also shooting my 13 year old son 9 times times. He's currently still in the hospital in stable condition by the Grace of God.

Our family is very close knit and has weathered many storms that we've come across through the years. My son Zacquez was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Zacquez loved basketball and had the biggest sense of humor. He was a student at Pearl Cohn High School in Nashville, Tennessee. He couldn't wait to go to prom, graduate then go to college.

My son Tavarius, He was a student at Pearl Cohn High School, He was a great football player, who wanted to play in the NFL when he grew up. He was quiet but always was ready to help when family needed help with anything.

My daughter Shykeria just had a birthday. She was wounded and is still in the hospital. She enjoyed working and being independent.

My daughter Ke'Nyah was also wounded, is a student at Pearl Cohn High School. She's on the dance team

and enjoyed working her part time job. My 13 year old son is the most friendliest kid you'll ever meet was also injured and in the hospital.

We are a family that has endured many struggles and this just reallyn knocked our familyn off of our feet. We are humbly asking for assistance because we can't afford to bury our two sons, hospital bills and housing, due to our home not being a safe place for our family anymore.
