The Sherrets and Cider Hollow Farm Barn Fire
Donation protected
This is what my sister in law Teri Sherrets posted early this morning on her personal fb page and Cider Hollow Farms facebook page. We wanted to do something to help them try to recover from this tragedy as they try to heal, from the losses. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

I’m not even sure how to start this post but here goes. Tonight was the most horrific night of my life. We lost our barn, at least 14 alpacas, our boar named Mr. Bob, two rabbits, two horses, and our rescue calf along with all of our tack and many tools. The “stuff” will accumulate again but I and my family are devastated over the loss of life.
I am trying to stay positive, but that’s not easy and I am writing this through tears. We are so very thankful for the Monmouth and surrounding fire departments. They also helped put together and wrangle animals into temporary shelters. We are thankful for neighbors coming to help. We are thankful for our adult children that came and stayed to help. We are thankful for the animals that remain. We are thankful that we are healthy and unharmed. We are thankful that it did not reach the house. It could have been much worse.
Please send prayers and thoughts as we try to assess the damage and needs in the daylight tomorrow.
