The Sidewalk School for Children Asylum Seekers Only EMPLOYS qualified Asylum Seekers who teach the Children Asylum Seekers that are stuck in Matamoros, México because of MPP. The Sidewalk School now takes place Online since the Coronavirus hit Matamoros, México. The Sidewalk School serves Children Asylum Seekers who live outside in tents with either their parents or other family members close to the International Bridge. The Teacher Asylum Seekers teach Online 5 days a week! Mon-Fri from 1pm-6pm. The Sidewalk School has issued out 180 Amazon Fire Tablets to the Children inside the Encampment so they can attend Online classes and we will continue to issue out Fire Tablets until ALL of the Children who want to attend The Sidewalk School have their own tablet. Sharing tablets in NOT allowed. The Sidewalk School now has a staff of 17 people therefore your donation will help pay the Teacher Asylum Seekers' salaries every week as well as the Teacher’s aides who live inside the Encampment with the Students. The Sidewalk School still provides lunch 5 days a week to the Students and other children who live inside the Encampment. Please donate and help the Asylum Seekers.
