The Sip Stands with the Sheffields

As many of you know, a member of the Ole Miss family recently received life-altering news. A few weeks ago, Brad Sheffield's incredible wife, Leslie, was diagnosed with a rare form of bladder cancer, absolutely rocking their family. Anyone that knows Leslie knows that she's going to fight like hell to beat this thing but in the meantime, there are going to be big costs during the battle with trips to the cancer center in Nashville, babysitters to watch their four adorable children, etc... and that's beside all of the medical expenses.

Brad is a longtime member of the athletic communications staff at Ole Miss and the brains behind a good deal of the content and coverage seen around the country for the Rebel football program. Leslie is a beloved nurse practitioner in Oxford who has been caring for the Lafayette County community with a smile on her face ever since they landed in The Sip. Somehow, they also find time to be the best parents in the world for their four small children.

Despite being the kind of guy that wouldn't think twice about giving you the shirt off his back, Brad's also the type who would never even begrudgingly ask anyone for anything and often needs to be fought with tooth and nail to accept assistance. Despite that fact, they need your help.

I'm asking the Ole Miss family to stand behind one of its own and pitch in to help the Sheffields in their time of need. Even the smallest bit helps.
