The Sippy’s Adopt Asher

Friends and family,

We are beyond excited and thankful to announce that we adopted our baby boy, Asher Jeremiah Sippy, on September 8th! He was born on Labor Day at only 26 weeks and is currently in the NICU. Asher has already had his ups and downs, but overall we are amazed at how God has orchestrated everything from his birth, health, doctors and nurses, and our living situation here in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In many ways we have been preparing our lives for this moment for five years, but we could not prepare for everything. We will most likely be living here in Charlotte through the month of November and probably on into December. We are both self-employed which is such a blessing because we’ve been able to take the time off that’s been necessary to attend to Asher. However, we will be experiencing some inconsistencies with our income due to the time we will be spending in and out of the hospital. Ultimately, our goal is to be more than available for both Asher and our daughter, Everly (4), who is also with us.

Right now our biggest needs are to finish paying the placement fees for our adoption, cover the lawyer fees, and cover additional living expenses during our time here.

We’ve already received so many kind messages from many of our friends and family and we hope you all know that those words have helped sustain our hearts during this time!
