Arnie 'Skeeter" Castro was an avid golfer. He may have been vocal on the golf course but kept his battle with mental illness to himself. Instead of seeking help, he suffered in silence until the day he decided it was all too much to fight alone.

The Skeeter Foundation’s goal is to raise awareness on suicide prevention and destigmatize the conversation around seeking help for mental health. The foundation's primary focus will be to bring the discussion of mental health and suicide to males over the age of 25 through golf tournaments that include immersive experiences and education to create a community that allows it to be okay to admit when you're not okay.

Your donation goes directly toward the cost of organizing the inaugural event scheduled for Saturday, September 10th and all events to follow.
