Slayers Youth Akademi by Coach Claude

Donation protected
The Slayers Youth Akademi is a black owned charity founded by Coach Claude to teach and train the youth in the urban community to put down the guns and put on the gloves, instead to fight against gang culture, gun violence, bullying and childhood obesity and trauma.

As a student at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Coach Claude joined the Student Alumni Association (SAA) in 2012 and became the event coordinator for the youth program that invited the nearby elementary students to visit the Main Campus in Boca Raton.

The kids had a good time with face painting and playing football.

As a youth in high school Coach Claude competed in the USA Boxing Tournaments in South Florida

Out of Pat Burns’ World Class Boxing Gym in Wynwood, Florida on Coach Victor De La Rosa’s boxing team.

Where he met his mentors:

World IBF Boxing Champion Glen Johnson “The Road Warrior”

And Professional fighter Damian “Devo” Frias

Who inspired him to rely on his talents instead of his friends from the streets by supporting his boxing and music career and motivating him to produce his first song that Devo walked out with when he scored his first knockout as a professional boxer:

And to land the principal part in Shakira’s “The One” music video in 2002 as a top tier up and coming amateur boxer in Florida:

As a local rap and Hip Hop artist by the name of Mackandal aka Mack, Coach Claude hosted the Back To School Health Care Event for the Commissioner of Little Haiti in Little Haiti Park in 2010. See Coach Claude’s YouTube channel Claudeotubes for more details:

“As a coach and father of two boys, I hate to hear when people say and that’s why I don’t have kids or don’t want to have kids,” when speaking of how bad things are in the black and urban communities today. ‘The children are the future.’

“My kids are the reason why I graduated from the Honors College of FAU to join the United States Navy with the support of my beautiful Queen.”

Coach Claude enlisted in the Navy as a reservist to protect his family and this great nation from its enemies both foreign and domestic!

“I’ve learned a lot with my brothers in the Navy about,

Brotherhood:

Honor:

and commitment:

And how to lead by example.”

Because he was training to turn pro when he enlisted Coach Claude graduated boot camp as part of top 3% of the US Navy, which is top 1% of the entire US military.

Coach Claude led his hall of fame division to win his retiring Chief’s first ever Captain's Cup Championship

After graduating boot camp, while transferring to apprentice school Coach Claude and the Navy was informed of his son’s hospitalization with severe pneumonia and the Navy temporarily released him return to home to his family as an inactive reservist. Coach Claude became a trainer at Flaco’s Community Gym in Hollywood, Florida in 2018

To train his boys who were recovering from pneumonia and childhood obesity

To become the best versions of themselves.

Now they’re both honor roll students in magnet programs in their schools well ahead of their class.

Coach Claude wants the same for all parents and all kids in America. Which is why he gave up his position as a trainer and marketing specialist at Flaco’s Community Gym and Title Boxing

To work with several charities like:

Save the Children

Heifer International

The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF)

Doctors Without Borders (MSF)

To learn from the best how to properly run a successful charity that can help deter the youth from gang culture, gun violence, childhood obesity and trauma through boxing fitness training training.

When we look at the recent passing of rappers, like

XXXTentacion, R.I.P.

Nipsey Hustle, R.I.P.

Pop Smoke, R.I.P.

King Von, R.I.P.

Young Dolph, R.I.P.

PnB Rock, R.I.P.

Takeoff, R.I.P.

And many others from the the black and urban community, who are the product and major influencers of the black and urban community, we can clearly see that we need to do better for our children. And that’s what the Slayers Youth Akademi is all about. Doing better for the kids!

Please support the Slayers Youth Akademi to help Coach Claude teach our youth to put down the guns and put on the gloves instead to fight against gang culture, gun violence, bullying, childhood obesity and trauma. Thank you in advance for your support!
