Hi , we are reaching out to the local and international community on behalf of a local family who moved to ireland in 2005 and then choose the town of Portarlington co Laois to live since 2009. Through a recent tragic fire this family of three have lost not only everything they own but also their home of 16 years whilst sustaining serious injuries, Slawek is currently undergoing care in St. james hospital dublin he was badly burnt and has undergone several surgeries and painful bandage changes are beginning on the 26th of February, he will have a long road of recovery ahead, Patryk is also injured from the jump from the thrird floor and is in a brace, Karolina is trying to support her whole families recovery and find a home for them to come home to eventually . They have made their

home here and unfortunately haven't even got extended family for comfort and support. Most of us have ourselves or know someone we love who has moved away in search of a better life and we could only hope that if disaster struck that there would be empathy and warmth shown. So please let's all show a sense of what it is to be part of a community that cares and try and dig deep to help this family recover.
