The Soler-Johnson Family

I am reaching out on behalf my dearest friend Ruth Soler-Johnson and her beautiful family. On July 4, 2021 tragedy struck this family with the sudden loss of Trey Johnson to a senseless act of violence. The devastation this tragedy has caused is immense and exponential to Ruth and their blended family of 6 children, including their newborn little girl who was just born last week. While trying to attempt the impossible task of coming to terms with the loss of this loving husband and father, Ruth is also recovering from pregnancy and delivering their baby last week while also caring for their other children.

Please if you could help this family during their time of need with the expenses of Trey’s funeral it would be a tremendous blessing to Ruth!

If you knew Trey or Ruth you had the pleasure to know two people who would give you anything they could to help you. They were newlyweds who just welcomed a beautiful baby girl to the world mere days prior to Trey’s passing. Between Trey and Ruth they have six amazing children, Cisco (19), Bella (18) , William (12), Luquillo (11), Judah (3) and Eliana (1 week old). Trey was an amazing bright medic with such a strong drive and desire to serve his community. He loved his wife and children more than life itself and was ecstatic to welcome his newest baby girl. I am not sure I have ever seen a new dad as happy on cloud nine in the hospital as I saw in him when she was born. He leaves behind his beloved Ruth. Another soul who has dedicated her life to helping the community through her role as a Registered Nurse.

I am asking our community, our Nursing and First responder family, and the community to help this beautiful family who have given selflessly to those around them. Please continue to lift them up in prayers and help Ruthie have the strength to make it through these dark times.
