The Solis Run
Tax deductible
My name is Anthony Rojas. I am a physical therapist in NYC and a combat veteran having served 16 years in the United States Army. Last year a very good friend of mine lost his brother,
David Solis to cancer. The aftermath led to him leaving behind a wife and 3 beautiful children. To honor him and the Solis family I will be running the Brooklyn Half Marathon on Oct 21st. My initial
attempts at setting up a go
fund me page was to raise money for his 3 children, Evan, Logan and Hailey. The contributions from this fund would be used to help with day to day expenses and their education. After speaking with the Solis family they asked that any money raised be donated to the Make a Wish Foundation This foundation helped David get through some tough times as a child and I am hoping the money raised through this race will
do that for another boy or a girl in need. Thank you in advance for your support.
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Make-A-Wish® Metro New York and Western New York, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
