Those of us lucky enough to have known Joe realize we just lost one of the good ones.
Joe and Angela have been the quiet heroes in the community, opening their home to over 70 foster children over the years, and adopting four of their girls, welcoming them into a close knit, forever family.
Although he spent the majority of the last few years sick and in and out of cancer treatments, Joe continued to go to work every day, without a complaint, to ensure his family had what they needed.
Now it’s our turn. Angela is faced with the incredibly difficult task of maintaining their home and providing for their children entirely on her own. They have never asked anything of anyone, and have given so much to so many.
Understandably, this is a hard time for everyone. If you are able, please help support this remarkable family. To help get the word out, please share the link to this page on your Facebook page. Let’s do anything we can to make our friends the Sousa’s as comfortable as possible.
