Hi, my name is Voula. I am from Toronto, Canada and spend my summers in Greece. My roots are from Sparta, Greece. I’m fundraising for the Sparta Dog Shelter along with the 5 volunteers of Smart Paws Save A Stray who are helping at the shelter.

We are working together to build up the shelter and to raise money for:

Medical care (medications, vaccines, micro chipping)
Neutering and spaying
Construction of the shelter
Electricity that is needed for the shelter
Food
Transportation fees to fly the dogs to Toronto Canada to be adopted

Before Smart Paws Save A

Stray came along, the conditions of shelters and the dogs themselves, were extremely tragic. The dogs lived in hell. There are no words to

describe how horrifying it was. This video will say it all!!

After viewing this video, I felt the need to help, so I reached out to one of the volunteers of Smart Paws Save A Stray. That’s what brings me here. I knew that they needed assistance from the very start, and so I decided to make a stand! I am actively working with Smart Paws Save A Stray to raise immediate funds, raise awareness for animal abuse and abandonment, and to educate the citizens of Sparta the importance of sterilizations of dogs and cats. We are also helping find more dedicated volunteers to work in the shelter. As of right now, there are 5 volunteers taking care of 150 dogs that desperately need to find their forever loving homes that they so deserve!!
