The Spirit of Christmas Recording Project

Hi friends, as many of you know, I’ve been recording a Christmas album that comes out this October. I’ve had the blessing of working with some of Nashville’s best musicians to create “The Spirit of Christmas”, a collection of Christmas jazz standards, beloved carols, and songs that I’ve written. Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without its music. My parents loved Christmas music, and many of our family traditions were inspired by songs like “Sleigh Ride” by Johnny Mathis. I’m sure many of you have favorite tunes that you listen to every year. Would you consider supporting this project through a financial contribution? I know it’s not Christmas yet, but the recording process is already underway! You can give now through December 31. Songs include jazzy tunes like “I’ve Got my Love to Keep Me Warm”, “Oh Little Town of Bethlehem”, and original songs like “Cardinal in the Snow”, a tribute to my mother. The album will also feature an original score of “Come Thou Long Expected Jesus”, composed by my father. I wish my parents could hear this album. But instead, their memory lives on through the music and in my heart. My producer Kirk Kirkland has led the way on this project which features over 25 musicians, with musical arrangements by Daniel Bondaczuk, Denver Bierman and Brad Henderson. A Nashville recording project of this magnitude is expensive, but worth every penny. The total cost of the album is $25,000, and I have invested $15,000 of my own funding. If you feel compelled to give, you can help me raise the remaining $10,000 to complete the project.
