The Spriggs’ Health Battles
Donation protected
The past few months have been extremely difficult on the Sprigg Family. Joe and Malissa (my sister) are the type of people to give you the shirt off their back and are the type that refuse to ask for help no matter how hard they need it! Therefore I am pleading for help on their behalf! They are always the first to help me in any situation! They put themselves last to continuously help family, friends, and strangers. Now
is our turn to put them first!
It all began when his eldest daughter was rushed to Cooper University in order to investigate lesions on her brain. She has under gone two recent brain surgeries. Joe and Malissa did not hesitate to spend their every waking minute making sure she was not alone and cared for during this stressful journey. During this time Malissa and Joe continued to put themselves last! Joe sacrificed his own health and career in order to provide his daughter with the support she needed.
This time caused their family to not only go through endless mental and physical stress along with a huge financial burden being placed on them due to bills, travel, and missed shifts. Joe’s profession does not offer him any paid time off and the missed work continued to add up as their answers to his daughter’s health were unanswered.
The week of Thanksgiving Joe himself began experiencing major health challenges. From lost vision, blood pressure struggles, over-all health decline, and endless tests with no answers. Joe has been a diabetic for 43 years and continues to experience the struggles that the disease brings. It is now almost a month later and there are still no answers. He has been in and out of various hospitals from Philly to Atlantic City all while both him and Malissa are missing work and bills are piling up. At this time, Joe is unable to physically do his job as a skilled electrician and his work does not allow for paid sick time. This has caused them to be in an urgent need of income in order to maintain their household bills and care for his children.
If you are unable to financially help please say a prayer and share this post.
If you are in a position to help we would be forever grateful and in debt to you!
