The Spurgeon Family

My name is Alyssa, I am Scott’s daughter. Scott went into Cardiac Arrest on Tuesday, August 29th at 6:00 am. My mom was able to perform CPR on him until the paramedics came and took over. They were able to revive him on the way to the hospital but he was without a pulse or a heart beat for 3 minutes. He is on a ventilator, in a coma-like state, and we have no idea if he will or at what level of brain capacity he will have when they try to wake him up in the next few days. As many of you know, my mom is a baker that owns her own business, however, Scott is their main source of income. With Scott in the hospital she is unable to take orders and will be struggling to pay their bills and now his hospital bills. These are things my mom shouldn’t have to worry about. Scott is a great and amazing man, I am so lucky to have him in my life. We have been receiving so many calls and messages from people that have amazed me with the love and prayers our family has been getting. I want to thank you all for the prayers. Anything that can help my mom put would be so absolutely appreciated.
