Support the Sri Lankan Pest Management Industry

Support for the Sri Lankan Pest Management Industry (PMASL).
Sri Lanka is in the middle of a major economic and humanitarian crisis.
The cost of fuel, insecticides, and pest management equipment has increased due to the collapse of the Sri Lankan dollar resulting in many businesses being unable to pay for these essential items. This means that pest managers are unable to undertake routine mosquito control.
As a result, dengue cases are rising, resulting in a public health emergency.
One of FAOPMA’s core purposes is to support our members in a time of crisis. As such, we have created a FAOPMA official Go Fund Me campaign to raise vital funds, which will allow for the purchase of fuel, equipment, and chemicals for Pest Managers to perform vital services for their communities.
Please give now and show the generosity that the pest management fraternity is renowned for.
As an act of leadership, FAOPMA is committing $3,000 of the Association’s money, and members of the Executive Committee have donated their own personal funds.
To ensure the funds raised are used for the intended purposes, FAOPMA will reconcile all donated monies against expenditure and will create a report which will be published in the FAOPMA Magazine upon completion of the initiative.
I am (Vasilios Tsoutouras) the Past President of FAOPMA and a sitting member of the current Executive Committee. I have been appointed the project manager for this effort on behalf of FAOPMA. All funds withdrawn are to be transferred to a USD FAOPMA bank account and then used to purchase equipment and fuel on behalf of PMASL.
