The Stampone Family

Less than two weeks ago Anthony and his young family received the upsetting news that he has stage 1B testicular cancer. A whirlwind of information and appointments ensued, including a surgery to remove the cancerous tumor. At a post operative appointment, the family found out that Tony’s bloodwork results indicate a high probability of the cancer coming back. As a result, they have decided on another surgery to remove potentially harmful lymph nodes in his lower abdomen in hopes of preventing any recurring cancer.

During a stressful time of uncertainty, although the family is blessed to have medical insurance, they are faced with multiple more trips to Buffalo for appointments, another hospital stay, and time away from work in order to prepare for and recover from everything leading up to and following this next part of their journey.
